Cards that can be adopted
《Curse of Shaken Faith》
This card is similar to 《Cindervines》 in the past, and is one of the best URstorm countermeasures ever.
In the past, I've often relied on 《Damping Sphere》 to counter URstorm.URstorm can easily destroy artifacts with 《Abrade》 and 《Shattering Spree》. And even if I tried to place many of the same cards, the 《Echoing Truth》 made them ineffective and the SB battle was tough.
However, the combination of UR is not very good at dealing with Enchantment.This means that if you successfully cast 《Curse of Shaken Faith》, you can force your opponent to choose between "forcing them to search for 《Echoing Truth》" or "forcing them to switch to the Empty the Warrens route".If your opponent chooses the former, take care of 《Mystical Dispute》, prepare 3 mana, and recast, if he chooses the latter, use Board Sweeper.
URstorm is not often at the top of the metagame in Modern right now, but it is a significantly disadvantageous archetype, so it will be a card to remember.

The list is too short to include only the cards that can be adopted, so I'll also include the cards that are not.
《Burn Down the House》
This is a board sweeper with selectable modes.
- There are no creatures with toughness 5 that I want to remove in the current Modern metagame.
- 《The Hour of Devastation》 can disable Indestructible, so I can ignore Selfless Spirit.
Casting from 《Wish》 requires a total of (5)(R)(R)(R), which is impractical and not good.
I thought of a pattern where I could choose the lower mode and run it as a burn spell, but 8 mana 3 point damage was too inefficient, so I stopped thinking about it.
《Wrenn and Seven》
Evaluated in previous articles (previous articles are in Japanese only).
Here is a brief summary explanation.
- Modern can't afford to pay (3)(G)(G) to play 《Mulch》 or 《Manabond》 right now.
- Easy way to counter tokens.
I'll write a little more about #2.
The strongest one in titanshift is -3.It can be used as a wall to protect you since it is a 5/5 Reach at minimum.But now Modern's main removal is 《Lightning Bolt》, 《Fatal Push》, 《Prismatic Ending》, and 《Unholy Heat》.Getting caught in 3/4 of the major removals is a big problem.You've gone to a lot of trouble to cast it, but on your opponent's turn, the token is removed and the creature combats you, and Wrenn and Seven will abandon you.(The text of Teferi's Time Trouble is hard to read, but I like it because these expressions are interesting.)
If you really want to use it, scapeshift with 《Treasure Hunt》 would be a good choice. titanshift would be difficult to use unless you have a list like RG Landfall Midrange.
《Augur of Autumn》
The good thing is that you don't have to reveal the top card of the Library.Since titanshift is a very straightforward combo deck, your opponent can easily predict your hand and progress, and you need to outsmart them to win the tournament.
- Cannot withstand 《lightning bolt》.
- There is no trigger when a land is set like in 《Courser of Kruphix》.
- With titanshift, the lowest ability is equal to none.
These three points seem to make it difficult to adopt.《Jaddi Offshoot》 may be more effective as a wall that can be set up early, although it is not resistant to 《Lightning Bolt》 as well.
《Storm the Festival》
It's a sorcery and 《Primeval Titan》 doesn't enter the battlefield, which is a bad thing.Even if two lands are flipped, the randomness is too strong to make it worthwhile.
Since 《Hour of Promise》, which can freely search for lands, is 5 mana, it is faster and more stable to use this.Another card with randomness is 《Escape to the Wilds》.This was also a hot topic when it first came out, and had some results in MO, but many people got sick of the random elements and quit.
《Golos, Tireless Pilgrim》 seems like a good combination because it's 5 mana, and GolosShift seems like a good place to start.
《Dire-Strain Rampage》
At first I thought Naturalize with FB in RG was very good news, but after carefully reading the text, I got dizzy.
titanshift is very good against combo decks that use lands other than Amulet Combo. That means 1/3 of the effect is gone (even though this 1/3 part is the highlight of the card!).
And giving away lands to your opponents is so much worse in Modern than in any other format.Modern is a format where offense is much stronger than defense, so giving up lands is as good as helping your opponent continue to attack.titanshift is a board control deck with combo built in, so think first about how you can remove it and how you can survive it.
That's it.I imagine that Innistrad: Crimson Vow will have a strong RBW combination since Olivia and Sorin are confirmed to appear.
